I went to the shop to buy food and other domestic stuff. I had strict budget and I made a promise to follow it because I often buy stuff I do not need. Alas I did it again. This time I had bought nude metal wall hangings for my living room. They are looking good and for sure the have high quality but still I have no need at all to buy them. Besides I already have wall decorations in the living room. It always happens like this – I don’t want to buy but when I see something nice I buy it.

Never Sports Again

Is there something more stupid on Earth than watching sports? My ex-boyfriend was keen sports fan. He had his entire schedule according to sport events. I mean there is no bad into watching sports but to plan your calendar a year ahead to match your favorite team plays is stupid. And she was dragging me into this too. I had to conform to his weird sport zeal. I am glad it is all over. I will never-ever again have anything to do with sports. I am even considering dropping my jogging because it reminds me of sport. For time being I swear I never to have such a stupid boyfriend.

Shopping and my Wife
My wife spends money like crazy. She buys things that have no purpose and have no real value. She does this only to buy. I think she loves the process of shopping no matter what she buys. Spending some time in the shopping centre meeting with her friends there – I don’t mind it, but I feel terrible since lately she had turned to internet shopping. She can buy dozens of stuff in half an hour. I had limited her to one thin per day only. Today she bought one sunshine metal sculpture. She has absolutely no use of it. We have boxes full with wall decorations in the garage. I wonder if there is a cure for this “shopping disease”?

Beauty and Future People
According to group of French scientists the future of the human race is “ugly”. They say people will mutate and their appearance will change. People will become deafer, they will become bolder. The skin will be darker and the nose the eyes and the teeth will shrink. The senses that we used to have as necessity for hunting will degrade. Muscle’s mass will be lesser the mouth will look like a frog’s mouth and so on. Those are only prognoses but imagine if this happens for real. I have no doubt people will still find beautiful ones amongst them but if we evolve like that I don’t want to live in the future.Image credit to Manuel Cernuda

My Bedroom Is All I Want
We were on a small trip to visit our relatives few days ago – me and my husband. Our car had broken in the middle of nowhere so we had to stop and spend a night in a motel. It was a ordinarily looking motel but when we entered the room I saw nude metal wall sculptures hanged on the wall. I think this was the most inappropriate wall decorations I can think of. It was not a big deal but it had not made me fell comfortable inside this room. To sleep in my bedroom was my only wish. I had to spend just few days not sleeping there and I had felt most uncomfortable. I love my bedroom. It is decorated with nice soothing landscape picture and it has the best bed in the world. I hate trips because I had to sleep at some place else.

Food Hygiene Helps Avoid Illnesses
We all have children and they go to nursery or school, where they play with so many different children and can easily get ill with stomach infections. Hygiene is tremendously important in the prevention of many kinds of infections. When I speak of hygiene I mean both personal and public. But to start with our children we have to teach them to wash hands before and after meals, bath or shower at least once a day spicily when it is very hot, or after physical activities. The food we prepare for them for school must be wrapped good and placed in a clean packet.

Small Tangerines Are Tastier
A big juicy fruit always seems tastier than the smaller one. I know this because subconsciously I always try to pick the bigger one. Well, it is not always the case that bigger is better. I recently had discovered that smaller tangerines are tastier than the bigger ones. And bigger are more expensive in the store because people buy the bigger fruits, lead by their subconsciousness like I did before. Once they were only small tangerines on the shelf and I wanted to eat exactly tangerines so I bought them. I thought I was hungry and that’s why they seemed so delicious to me. Next time I had bought both bigger and smaller ones to compare them. Now I am sure, smaller are better – definitely.Image credit to Creative Tools

Items and Their Energy Signature
When you buy stuff from the market are you always sure you by the right one? They are visible and invisible things to human eye and senses. You can think of radiation – can you see it, smell it or touch it, can you sense it in anyway? Same is with bio-energy. Everything has its energy state. Energy is everywhere around us. We are energy, environment is energy and we interact together. I bought recently metal birds artwork. When they arrived I started to wonder what do I know about this item. I am going to hang it on the wall and live with it but I have no idea how and where it has been produced. What if it has been created with negative emotions and dark energy is hidden inside it?

Is Our Current Economy Wrong
ses off our modern society. The market economy we have is an engine and is a corner stone around which everything in our lives turns. Economics is engine for people’s motivation and is key element responsible for our modern technological advancement. This all sounds good but is the state of our current economy humane? Does it response to our needs? Can it be called standard-bearer of human’s progress? I don’t thinks so. For real the economy status plays major role in our society and some people benefit of it. But they are great injustice all over the world caused by this economics’ model. How can something that is good for some people while enslaving others be good?

Will this Satisfy Her
We are going to visit my mother in law. Of course we need a present for her and my wife had taken care for it. She bought one well made sophisticated sun metal wall art with a clock in the middle. It looks well hanged on the wall. I must admit my wife is much better than me when it comes to gifts. She has chosen good looking item. But I am afraid of one thing. My mother in law is old woman. And you might guess she is always mumbling and never satisfied. According to my wife what she needs most is attention. The nature of the gift is of no importance. I am not so sure about it.

Fabric Softener Reaction
I have one fabric softener which smells nice but it did something I do not expect. I liked it so far. Clothes smell good, there is no static electricity in my artificial wool blouses and ironing is improved. Yesterday I had noticed something. There was some fine scent in one of my blouses I do not like. It was reminding me to vomit. It was vaguely present but I had sensed it. What was interesting is that it was only this particular blouse. Then it came to me. I had used my new perfume on it an hour before placing it in the washing machine. It is the only explanation why it has this faint scent of vomit. It may have happen some chemical reaction. Who knows what kind of organic compounds they are in the washing powder, the softener and the perfume.

If I Tell Her There Will Be a Scandal
My wife placed a cactus metal art sculpture in our bedroom. I am not a big fan of those plants – cactuses. I am not a flower lower of flower hater I am neutral towards any plant but cactuses. They freak me out. I find them repulsing. Maybe the association with desert, maybe the thorns… I don’t know I just don’t like them. My wife knows that. She thinks I am overreacting but I really hate cactuses. I want this thing removed from the bedroom. But if I tell her to do that there will be a scandal for sure. She will start again with me not respecting her and other blah-blah.Image credit to mikebaird

Beware of the “Comfort Zone”
This so called “comfort zone” is one of your greatest enemies. Roughly speaking this is a condition of your mind when people get used to do certain things in one and the same way and they feel happy about it. This theory is according to one guy called Brian Tracy. I have red some of his books and I can say that he has a point. Of course I do not agree 100% with him but still he has some pretty good ideas and he is right about many things. Actually I took some of his advices and I believe I had gained from this. There is a point sometimes to seek for other man’s opinion. I started to avoid this zone of comfort and I have true results now.

My Canadian Memory
I spend last summer in Canada. I want to tell you I was fascinated by the nature of this country. Of course we have also a beautiful wild nature her in the USA but Canada has a unique atmosphere. It is a foreign country but still very close to us. I can not describe you how good I was feeling this summer. And I had brought back many gifts. Even one moose metal wall art which my wife picked to remind her of this strange and interesting animal we had the luck to encounter in live. I have seen many things in Canada in two months full of thrill and adventure. I believe I will go back there some time.Image credit to natalielucier

Tom and Jerry the Best Animation Ever
I still have the full collection of all the episodes from Tom and Jerry. And sometimes when I find free time from my busy day I watch an episode and I still laugh as when I was a kid. This serial is truly the best ever made. I grew up watching it and it was my favorite time sitting in front of the TV set watching them. They don’t make such animation today. I find new movies for children a bit shallow. Maybe I am too old to understand it or maybe I am telling the truth. Who knows? I only know that Tom and Jerry are the best!Image credit to bLOGOS/HA HA

What Civilization Is

What is Civilization - cultural achievements, glorious victories, etc and so on blah- blah. I found it in most trivial things. Believe me or not but napkins and hot water mean civilization for me. Yesterday I had forgotten to buy napkins from the store. By the moment I had realized that every store has been already closed (maybe I should open 24/7 store selling these marvelous household inventions). As you know bad things don’t come alone. My boiler has broken down the same evening. So here I am sitting with no hot water and no napkins. No big deal you will say. I agree with you why is the fuss about all this? I just want to say how Civilization is measured in small things. Every major glorious events echoing through the history seems quite distant and in a second thought means nothing to me. I just want perfect accommodations at my home, this includes napkins and hot water all the time. Yesterday civilization had a fail with me.

I Felt Like a Weakling
I desperately need to go to the gym. Not that I am fat and I must loose weight or something like this. Just the contrary, I have to make some muscles and to fit. I am in a very bad shape. Two hours ago I have to carry wrought iron scroll grille for a while. My wife had bought it and our car was parked few blocks away so I needed to carry it to there. At first it seemed not too heavy but after a hundred yards I started to feel it. I am no smoker I drink no alcohol and I have not visited my doctor for over a year but I had some real problems carrying this damn thing. I guess it is chair’s fault. I do nothing the whole day but sitting and working in my chair. I need some physical activity. I felt like a weakling and this is not a good feeling I can tell you this.

Children and the Games

There is a new serious threat to our children, a menace that can truly impact their life in a very bad way. I am talking about electronic games. Behavior deviances and many other problems are hidden behind this passion for gaming. Depressions, phobia, anxiety, bad grades at school all this can be caused by the psychological effects that games have upon child’s mind. And along with psychological damage gaming can cause spine problems because of the posture, can affect eyes and many other defects and problems caused by sedentary occupation in front of the screen. In fact I think virtual games are the greatest challenge we parents face when we educate our children.

This Time I Made a Good Choice for a Gift
I thing for a man a cowboy western metal art is a good gift. I need a present for my wife’s brother. I may buy him some cosmetics or golf stick or whatever else, but I think it is too banal to give such a present. I want him to remember me with something. We are in very good relations and I want my gift to be something special. This wall art seems to me the best idea. He is keen to rodeos, Indians, horses and all such kind of stuff. I believe this time I had chosen the right gift and I think even my wife should agree to this.

To Be a Celebrity May Not Be so Tempting

Everybody wants to be celebrity but I don’t want to. I want to have all the extra qualities that stars have. I want to have them but I don’t like all the fuss around the stars. To be a star is tempting but this means to have no private life. You must always hide from the curious paparazzi and to repel fans. You need to be always polite to the people even to those that are pestering you. You must always be careful not to say something that might turn against you in the future. I wanted to be an actress like Angelina Jolie and to have Brad Pit for husband but when I see how people treat the celebrities – no thanks I prefer ordinary life

Small Presents Are Fantastic Idea
I was new in town, fresh newcomer. I remember it was a bout a week since I had established in the new house and my neighbor came to visit me. It was unexpected because last city where I used to live I have rarely seen my neighbors and I even had forgotten their names. This time my neighbors were warm and friendly. They even gave me small welcome present - wrought iron grilles since I have little decorations in the house. At first this seemed to me strange but once I get to know them I had realized this is a fantastic idea. To give small presents to each other is interesting and makes my live happier.

Paper Bags Are Dangerous Garbage Too

Plastic bags are very no-friendly to the environment. That’s why I always use paper bags for everything. Paper decomposes much faster that the plastic and this way it pollutes less. Paper also is wood and wood is natural to the environment in difference to the artificial plastic. But as I saw in one movie called Garbage Mountain that the paper packages we throw away actually can not disappear in natural decay process in the dump yards, because of the lack of oxygen there. It appears no matter plastic or paper we still pollute the environment. Everything we throw away is dangerous to our planet.
